SENDIASS Area Manager

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Hours: Full time, 35 per week

Responsible to: Head of Supporting Families Service

Centre 404 is a leading charity based in North London with an excellent reputation for providing high quality services to children and adults with learning disabilities and their families. This role will be part of our Supporting Families team that works with family carers of children and adults who have a learning disability and offers advice, training, support and events throughout the year.

SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and/or Disability Information, advice and support service) is a statutory service which provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support to parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and young people and children with SEND.

The area manager will oversee the running of the service over 2 locations; Enfield and Waltham Forest.

Role Purpose:

Maximise client contracts and effectively manage expenditure to achieve profit targets.

Lead and manage teams across 2 locations to drive performance and achieve targeted goals.

Continuously strive to improve and deliver results in line with set budgets and key objectives.

Manage data input to ensure, accuracy, and quality reporting to councils.

Influence work around strategy and operational business planning

Knowledge of local authority processes, national policies and legislation and relevant SEND issues will be essential to this role alongside organisational expertise and a real desire to lead the team in creating and delivering a range of events and activities as part of the wider Supporting Families team. An IPSEA qualification is preferred.

This is a potentially hugely rewarding role for an individual with significant experience of the SEND Code of Practice offering challenge, autonomy and opportunities for development within a growing organisation.
