Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families. Our central ambition, which is core to everything we do as a charity, is to ensure that all grieving families can access the support they need free of charge. This is provided via our bereavement services team who operate nationwide both in person and remotely.

Our current Chief Executive, Ann Chalmers, is standing down after twenty years in the role and we are now seeking the very best candidate to take the charity forward in the long term. Our new Chief Executive will have an important role in continuing to raise the profile of the charity in advancing public awareness of the impact of child bereavement and the issues facing bereaved families. Additionally, relationships with our partners and stakeholders will be essential to continue to cultivate and we continue to be fortunate in the support given to the charity by our Royal Patron HRH The Prince of Wales.
