Salary: £56,713 to £59,946 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday

Location: County Hall, West Street, Chichester, PO19 1RQ (Hybrid and Flexible Working) The role will offer hybrid working arrangements, you will be expected to work from different delivery points across the county. Final arrangements to be confirmed with successful candidate.

Interview Date: 04 March 2024 and 07 March 2024

You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes available.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to lead our communities’ programmes and initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely, build relationships and collaborate with partner organisations including District and Borough councils, and other local stakeholders.

You will successfully manage a pipeline of service improvement and project delivery ambitions across the directorate including the delivery of major projects (e.g. Accommodation provision, implementation of new systems/processes) and the development of new collaborative partnerships to support our successful Refugee, Asylum and Migration work.

You will lead on end to end service reviews, mapping processes and making recommendations for effective and efficient ways of working taking into account current and future service pressures.

About You

We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills and a desire to use these in influencing colleagues, partners and decision-makers.

You will be providing expert advice as you will be faced with complex problems to solve across many domains, all of which will require energy, creativity, agility and a strong drive to achieve change.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, communicating on several different levels with multiple stakeholders and adapting your style accordingly.
