Job Purpose

The Corporate Partnership Manager role manages both new business and account management in their area, whilst supporting the wider Corporate Partnerships team. The role will manage one direct report and help meet an income target through the management and development of existing corporate partnerships, securing new partnerships by building relationships and delivering exceptional supporter experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading day-to-day contact for partnerships and supporting larger, strategic partnerships
  • Managing one direct report to support their objectives and target, as well as their professional development
  • Managing a portfolio of partnerships from a variety of sectors, delivering partnership development through both financial and shared purpose opportunities to increase income
  • Maximising current activity, exploring new income streams and exploring strategic support that partnerships could provide to the Charity through pro bono and Gift in Kind
  • Supporting by taking a lead on key projects within their strategic partnership portfolio
  • Achieving agreed fundraising targets to deliver budget and contingencies to meet any shortfalls
  • Providing high quality account management to existing corporate supporters, delivering on partnership targets
  • Identifying and working on strategic partnerships and a programme of engagement opportunities to cultivate these opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities and key influencers to maximise income
  • Identifying partnership opportunities through research and prospecting, making new business applications and approaches, working on and delivering pitches
  • Securing pipeline with prospects, approaches, pitches and partnerships – all recorded, tracked and reviewed.
  • Cultivating and recruiting new and existing corporate volunteers
  • Reduce Charity expenditure by sourcing appropriate in-kind donations
  • Ensure that partnership agreements, media and communication plans and reporting are in place
  • Accurate logging of communications on in house database and ensuring thanking strategy is adhered to
  • Ensuring that all activities conform to industry best practice and legal requirements, as well as Ronald McDonald House Charities UK policies and procedures
  • Representing the Charity at fundraising meetings, events and presentations outside normal office hours (evenings and weekends), as required
