Meet the Organisation: Who We Are and What We Do

Unitas are an independent charity and purpose-built youth centre for Barnets young people aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs. We support North Londons young people with three things they deserve and need; somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

Unitas Youth Zone opened its doors in June 2019 and since then we have welcomed thousands of young people through our doors. Unitas is a proud member of the OnSide network of Youth Zones.

Join us in making a difference and raising the aspirations of young people in North London. We embrace diversity and welcome applications from individuals with non-traditional backgrounds. Safeguarding is paramount, and an enhanced DBS check is required. As an equal opportunity employer, we value individuals regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.

Many young people, particularly those from socio-economically deprived areas, face an endless maze of boredom, loneliness, and temptation, with nowhere to go and a lack of inspiring and productive activities to occupy their leisure time. The charity is dedicated to young people and makes a bold statement about the importance of giving young people high-quality places to go in their leisure time. Open 6 days a week including school holidays, our vision is to unite young people to fulfil their full potential.

Dont miss this amazing opportunity to join us as our Director of Fundraising! Apply now and make a difference!

Closing Date: noon on Friday 5th April
