Events, Community and Partnerships Executive

* £23,000 – £25,000 depending on experience

* Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 0BN / with flexible working

We are looking for a strong communicator, a creative team player with attention to detail, experience of supporting a team and naturally committed to providing exceptional stewardship. ABOUT US

Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a disability charity based in Surrey, with national reach. We have more than 85 years’ experience of developing innovative services which support almost 10,000 disabled people a year to achieve their potential and increase independence.

The Engagement & Partnerships team support this work by raising funds through a combination of individual giving, legacies, events, community and corporate support, charitable trusts and major gifts. As Events, Community and Partnerships Executive, you will be responsible for providing admin support to the ECP team, ensuring all supporters receive a positive and rewarding experience and assist on events and campaigns.

JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting into the Senior Events, Community and Executive, you’ll be nurtured and developed in your role and have the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide variety of supporters, from individuals and volunteers to clubs, societies, groups and local companies.

* To provide efficient administrative support to the team particularly in monitoring shared Inboxes, raising invoices, managing mailings, stock taking, reconciliation and maintaining our database and webpages as well as dealing with suppliers.

* Excellent time management, ensuring workload is prioritized and processes are followed

* To manage the design of the team’s promotional materials (leaflets, posters, e-newsletters etc) using your experience of design, marketing tools and content management tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Word Press)

* Manage initial enquiries from fundraisers and donors and take responsibility for our thanking, look after our supporter care journey and ensure that QEF provides an exceptional experience for our supporter

* Through excellent relationship management, you’ll inspire our supporters to see through their fundraising plan and help to achieve the team’s targets

* To undertake talks in the community on an ad hoc basis (training will be given)

* To manage a small portfolio of community initiatives and events
