Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives our Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as a Partnerships Fundraiser and get more people involved in change that means everything.

Are you an experienced fundraiser and talented relationship manager? Do you want to lead on exciting projects and secure new partnerships within the sports industry? Do you want to help end cruelty to children? Join our team as a Partnerships Fundraiser, working with senior stakeholders within the sport industry.

This varied role sits within the Volunteer Partnerships team, a unique team which consists of four volunteer fundraising boards, made up of influential individuals who are passionate about the NSPCC and volunteer their time and expertise to raise funds and amplify the NSPCC’s work. The Boards employ a range of fundraising techniques across multiple income streams to reach their goals, with their main focus on using their networks and influence to secure income generating opportunities via corporate partnerships, gifts from individuals, collaboration with brands and fundraising events, all of which generate significant funds and awareness for the NSPCC.

This role of Partnerships Fundraiser is to specifically manage the relationships with the NSPCC’s Sports Steering Group and Network, and to secure and manage new partnership opportunities within sport. With a blend of account management and new business, this role will be responsible for developing a partnerships pipeline and portfolio that will raise income and brand awareness for the charity. The NSPCC’s Sports Steering Group is embarking on a new strategy and focus, so it is an exciting time to join the team and for a motivated self-starter to really make their mark. A good knowledge of sport would be desirable, but not essential.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • be an excellent fundraiser and relationships manager
  • be highly organised
  • have an understanding of the sales process
  • have exemplary attention to detail
  • be self-motivated to proactively identify and win new partnerships
  • have impeccable communications skills
  • demonstrate experience of successfully generating new opportunities which are commercially viable, relevant and of mutual benefit

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-known charity, gaining exposure across the organisation, whilst working with extremely passionate external stakeholders. The role offers an opportunity to develop a wide range of fundraising skills and work on a variety of exciting projects.

Join us and you will become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You will discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that’ll bring the best out in you. And you will get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
