Job title: Programme Manager

Salary: £39,488 per annum

Location: London, E1 (Hybrid working)

Contract/Hours: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Full Time

Fairtrade Foundation are recruiting for a Programme Manager to provide management support to the Ben and Jerry’s (B&J) Living Income Accelerator (LIA) (50% of their time) and other programmes. The post will be responsible for ensuring sound stakeholder relationship management (including with programme funders, and partners such as Fairtrade Africa) and acting as the main programme liaison across complex programme activities on a day-to-day basis. The role will lead on reporting, contracting, budgeting and financial management, liaising with internal teams as needed, as well as scanning for new funding opportunities from relevant donors. The programme manager will report into and work closely with the Senior Programme Manager on the B&J’s LIA, and the wider B&J team for 50% of their time and manage other programmes within the Programmes team for the other 50% of their time.

You’ll need to have good project management experience and a solid understanding of the project management cycle preferably within an international development context. You will need to be an excellent communicator with good teamworking skills and have excellent organisational skills to manage deadlines and competing priorities. Experience working with or for a commercial partner is highly desirable, but not essential.
