If so, you could be the Senior Partnership Manager we’re looking for!

About the role

As a Senior Partnerships Manager, you’ll lead a range of partnerships, with a primary focus on managing and developing one of our key high-value partnerships. In this pivotal role, you’ll steer the strategic direction of the key partnership, driving growth and innovation to raise funds and awareness that support reducing the nation’s risk of heart and circulatory disease.

You’ll be accountable for driving and delivering against income targets, meeting agreed objectives, and measuring KPIs. You’ll also lead on project management and resource planning for partnerships while fostering internal and external relationships and driving alignment towards overall business goals.

Taking a proactive approach to breaking down barriers, influencing with impact, and engaging our partners, you’ll develop strategies for cross-team success, collaborating with stakeholders to maximise impact and value for the BHF and our esteemed corporate partners.

You’ll be responsible for the financial aspects of partnerships and ensuring regulatory compliance in all partnership activities.

Working arrangements

This is 12-month Fixed Term Contract covering family leave.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. There will be regular travel to partner locations as this is an externally facing role.

At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you

You’ll have extensive knowledge and experience of partnership management in the corporate and voluntary sectors. With excellent interpersonal and listening skills you’ll be able to influence and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders in a complex environment.

You’ll have multi-layered project management experience, working cross organisationally to hit objectives as well as a competent understanding of charity legal and compliance processes including the fundraising ‘Code of Practice’.

To be successful in this role you’ll have passion, gravitas, and ambition. You’ll have experience of delivering high value partnerships ideally which are multi-layered and with influential external third-party stakeholders, budget management and the ability to identify and drive forward financial and non financial growth.

Additionally, to be successful in this role you’ll be:

able to adopt a truly collaborative perspective, thinking beyond your own portfolio and team to deliver transformative partnerships for the BHF
a strong influencer and negotiator, especially when gaining buy-in across the organisation and with all stakeholders
able to transform complex project information into compelling stories and content
an inspiring leader able to motivate and help exceed KPIs across the team
proficient using Microsoft Office, CRM databases, and suite of virtual tools
