Position: Bradford Team Leader
Location: Office base at Cross Green, Leeds, LS9. Delivery across Bradford with a focus on Mary Street and Esholt Caravan Sites.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £30,266 – £33,767 (Pro-rata)

As Team Leader, you will coordinate, develop, and provide high-quality and accessible offers to our members in Bradford. This will include outreach, advocacy, community groups and other community development projects. You will ensure our Bradford members have access to all our services through Leeds GATE – including our area wide offers.
You will get to know our Bradford members well and involve them in planning our work, listening and responding to their ideas. You will ensure the smooth running of our Bradford work, being the first point of contact for members. You will work with the senior leadership team on strategic projects and meetings, involving our members in these. You will work with a range of partner agencies across Bradford to improve their offers to Gypsy and Traveller communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage a small team to include staff, volunteers, and students Ensure regular supervision, a weekly team meeting, and diary management Ensure all organizational processes are followed by your team Responsible for booking and managing training for your team including mandatory, role-specific, and personal development Ensure your staff understand and implement the processes developed to manage quality in your department
Complete small funding bids with support from your manager Manage project budgets and ensure finance processes are followed
Ensure good relationships to our funders and supporters Work directly with partner organizations to improve options for our members establishing new activities and offers
Co-ordinate the delivery of projects in your team Lead project planning meetings and update documents Set and follow a delivery plan for your area that is co-produced with our members – ensuring a variety of activities reaching new and existing members Complete funder and organisational monitoring returns in a timely manner to your manager
Essential criteria include:
English GCSE or equivalent Maths GCSE or equivalent Experience in supervising staff and volunteers Experience working with Gypsy and Traveller communities or other marginalised groups Experience in delivering and planning projects Experience working in partnership with other agencies Experience in making safeguarding decisions Experience in managing relationships with funders and contract managers
