About the role Working as a member of the dedicated Youth Team you will engage with targeted communities to provide and promote inclusive opportunities for young people and young adults to develop positive working relationships that will enable them to achieve their potential.

You will work with vulnerable young people and young adults who have significant and complex barriers to help and support them to identify solutions and progress towards entry into education, employment or training as well as engaging in effective mutli-agency working with all agencies responsible for those in these cohorts.

You will provide a valuable resource for this organisation to enable it to achieve their objectives. Dealing with a variety of Youth project delivery tasks in a diverse and busy internal and external environment, ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining quality.


  • Youth Work Qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Proven experience of engaging, coaching and supporting Young People and Young Adults who are NEET to progress.
  • Experience of engaging partners and partnership working
  • Excellent understanding of what opportunities for education employment or training exist in an area
  • Proven experience of successfully achieving programme performance targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a professional, tactful and patient approach
