United for Education and Sustainable Futures

United for Education and Sustainable Future (UESF) is a non-profit international association with headquarters in Vienna, Austria and International Representatives in many corners of the world. Our aim is to address education and development challenges around the world, while simultaneously supporting and promoting international conventions on human rights and UN standards of living for all human beings as envisioned in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Youth Education Ambassadors (YEA) program is the flagship program of United for Education and Sustainable Future (UESF) in Vienna. YEA is implemented under the patronage of the Austrian UNESCO Commission and offers high school students from the ages of 15 to 18 the opportunity to learn about interdisciplinary international topics that complement their regular classroom. The interactive program covers a theoretical part on Sustainable Development topics with a focus on education, environment, energy, human rights, and poverty and a practical part involving a local or international internship at one of our partner organizations. Students are also provided with a personal development training to help them acquire personal skills that are vital as they prepare to become Education Ambassadors.
