WAVE is looking for an experienced and committed Project and Research Officer, to support WAVE with our project and research activities.

This role will have the following main responsibilities:
- Supports WAVE’s research and assists in data collection and analysis.
- Supports WAVE’s international project work, coordinates selected project activities.
- Contributes to WAVE publications and capacity-building initiatives.
To be considered for this role you should have the following respective experiences and skills:
- Degree or diploma in Gender Studies, Political Science, or related field (or relevant work experience).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in research and data collection.
- Experience in project coordination.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience preferably in an NGO or non-profit setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Excellent time-management skills as well as professional communication skills ideally in an international context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German knowledge is a plus.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- A sound understanding of violence against women, gender equality and feminism.
