Über uns

The Salt Pound Project ist eine Non-Profit Initiative, die sich die Schaffung einer zuverlässigen, sicheren, alternativen Währung zum Ziel gesetzt hat, welche marginalisierte Gemeinden in Entwicklungsländern in ihrer nachhaltigen Entwicklung unterstützt. Dafür wird ein digitales “Token” auf dem Blockchain Framework Exonum entwickelt, welches durch den am meisten verbreiteten Rohstoff der Welt gedeckt ist: Natursalz. Durch die Kombination von Blockchaintechnologie und Rohstoff-gedeckter Währung soll die exzessive Spekulation und die Bildung von Blasen vermieden werden. Wir sind ein junges, internationales Team von Freiwilligen und suchen ständig nach Verstärkung – jeder kann soviel zu der Organisation beitragen, wie er gut zeitlich vereinbaren kann.

About Us

The Salt Pound Project is a non-profit initiative with the aim of creating a reliable and secure alternative currency which empowers individuals in vulnerable communities and fosters sustainable economic growth in developing countries. We are developing a token which is enhanced by a blockchain framework based on Exonum, and backed up by one of the most popular and easily available minerals in the world: natural salt. Through this hybrid approach, we expect our beneficiaries to get the most from blockchain technologies, while preventing excessive speculation and bubble effects. We are a young, international team of volunteers, constantly looking for new people to support us in whatever capacity they are capable of doing.
