Event announcement
In view of a globalized world in which economic, social and environmental goals must be agreed in the long term, it is particularly important to look beyond one's own nose. How will Europe develop in the future and what is being done to achieve sustainable and long-term success?
On Monday, April 3, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., everything at the Vienna University of Economics and Business will be focused on the future of Europe. The WU Sustainability Day is entering its fourth round! This year, the day will once again be jointly organized by the Competence Center for Sustainability, the student organization oikos Vienna and the ÖH WU.
In addition to exciting presentations, including one by Jesus Crespo Cuaresma (WU) on the topic of educational migration, there will also be a workshop on investment protection in free trade agreements with Christian Bellak (WU) and Lukas Stifter (BMWFW) in the afternoon. The evening program will be opened by the well-known publicist and professor Ulrike Guérot with a keynote speech on the "Republic of Europe". She will then join State Secretary Harald Mahrer (BMWFW), Hanna Simons (Greenpeace Austria), Patricia Klopf (WU) and a student on the podium for a discussion.
