Become professionally active at the interface of society, globalization and politics. The Master's courses starting in November 2023 will provide you with the necessary legal, social, economic and communication science knowledge and methods. With the exception of two on-site events, our hybrid courses can be completed entirely online.

In many professional fields - from healthcare and education to human resources - a competent approach to the topic of migration is essential. Acquire the relevant specialist knowledge and practical methodological skills with one of the Master's courses in "Migration and Integration Management" or "Global Competences and Management"

If you register by 30.09.2023, relevant professional experience can be taken into account. An academic degree is required for admission to a Master's degree program at Danube University Krems.

In addition to the Master's programs (MA, MSc), which last four or five semesters, alternative formats are also available in the form of the Academic Expert (3 semesters) and the Certified Program (2 semesters).

Master's course in Migration and Integration Management

  • They deal intensively with regions of origin and transit as well as the host countries. One focus is on Austria and the EU area. Get to know migration and integration management as a form of empowerment and benefit from the practical relevance of the lecturers.
  • The course can be completed in five semesters as a Master of Science, over three semesters as an Academic Expert or over two semesters as a Certified Program.
  • Target group: People in management, leadership and organizational functions who deal with issues of migration and integration, education officers, people in the AMS, refugee aid, the police and other public institutions

Master program Global Competences and Management

  • Globalization and internationalization present companies and diverse organizations with new challenges. You will learn to recognize local, global and transcultural challenges and manage them in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Acquire intercultural skills for working in multicultural teams, negotiating with international business partners, expanding business activities abroad or collaborating across national borders.
  • Subjects included: e.g. diversity, theory and practice of intercultural communication, globalization: history, economy and politics, entrepreneurial action in times of globalization or intercultural management.
  • The course can be completed over four semesters as a Master of Arts, over three semesters as an Academic Expert or over two semesters as a Certified Program.
  • Target group: People in multicultural project teams, with stays abroad, people in the public sector, healthcare and non-profit organizations
