Trotz der Ausnahmesituation rund um Corona gehen uns bei NGOJobs.eu die Ideen nicht aus. Vor einigen Wochen hat NGOJobs-Co-Gründerin Sarah eine neue Initiative ins Leben gerufen und die Facebook-Gruppe „Ich kauf‘ nebenan – Wien“ gegründet.
In the group, a growing number of people (currently more than 500!) share their experiences with local stores in and around Vienna: Which bookstore delivers reliably? I don't want to go to the DIY store, where can I get tomato plants in my district? Who repairs my broken shoe heel near me?
The huge response shows that many people are consciously rethinking their consumption as a result of the coronavirus crisis. Do I really want to support a mail-order giant or a large chain with my purchases - or would I rather support the small store, the local supplier in my neighborhood? Small stores that don't have an online store (and sometimes no website at all) and are therefore not included in other initiatives benefit particularly from recommendations in the group.
