Support for Partnership and Programme Development: marginal employment (“geringfügig”)

Light for the World International is an international disability and development organisation whose vision is an inclusive society where no one is left behind. We enable crucial eye health services and help empower people with disabilities in some of the poorest regions of the world.

We are hiring a marginally employed colleague to support the Partnership and Programme Development team for 9 hours per week to start in January 2022. This is a short-term contract of 6 months with the opportunity to extend.

Support for Partnership and Programme Development Team (m/f/nb)

Marginal employment (“geringfügig”), based in Vienna

Primary responsibilities:

  • Entering / creating projects in the project database
  • Planning and organising meetings, programme retreats, workshops
  • Taking minutes, preparing documents and/or following up on meetings and retreats
  • Maintaining and updating process and project documentation
  • Supporting travel planning

Your profile:

  • Interest in development cooperation and to expand your professional knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of English and German; French and Portuguese are an advantage
  • Proactive personality – interest to work in a dynamic environment and to proactively provide input to team processes
  • Experience in a multi-cultural environment, strong motivation and excellent organisational skills
