Communications Coordinator (w/m/nb) for Advocacy and Partnerships

Place of Work: Vienna or remote from another location where Light for the World operates / with some international travel required
Duration: Full-time (40hrs/week), permanent
Salary: Based in Vienna: EUR 37.800– 44.800 p.a., dependent on experience. If based in another LFTW country: competitive, according to local NPO sector average and dependent on experience
Starting date: As soon as possible

Your tasks

  • You coordinate and drive forward joint communication with strategic global networks & partners and act as the key communications contact for selected grants and consortia
  • You develop a strategic system for prioritization of partner communications opportunities and obligations
  • You develop content for international audiences and social media channels and write articles for external platforms
  • You ensure maximum impact and reach by sharing the content with external and internal stakeholders
  • You develop communication plans and campaigns and support external relations around major advocacy and policy topics
  • You are the ambassador for our relationship management, act as main contact to one of our honorary ambassadors and work closely with various teams within the organization

Your profile

  • You bring an academic background in communication or advocacy and established professional experience (min. 3-5 years) in communication and/or advocacy in an international NGO field
  • You have experience in production and dissemination of communication tools, e.g. articles, editorials, etc. and bring excellent verbal and writing skills
  • You bring strong diplomacy, negotiation and networking skills paired with a good team spirit and cultural sensitivity
  • Ideally you also have field experience in advocacy and/or communication and have worked on projects related to disability and inclusion
  • Excellent English skills are a must, German and other languages are of advantage
  • You bring interest in development cooperation and Light for the World‘s mandate area
