Fulbright Austria ( has promoted mutual understanding and cooperation between the peoples of Austria and the United States of America since 1950. We fulfill this mission by sponsoring exchange grants for Austrian and US students, scholars, artists, and teaching assistants. As part of our broad mandate, we manage the US Teaching Assistantship Program on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and serve as an EducationUSA advising center in Austria, counseling students and institutions of higher education on opportunities to study in the US.

To organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures on a day-to-day basis, Fulbright Austria is seeking an office manager for our office in Vienna, Austria. You will work closely with the executive director and the entire team.


Office Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing general office agendas
  • Accounting and reporting in collaboration with our external partners
  • Designing PR materials in collaboration with the web & content manager
  • Planning and organizing events
  • Purchasing and liaising with suppliers and facility management
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Welcoming and supporting visitors in our office

Your qualification profile:

  • A graduate degree (BA, equivalent, or above)
  • Successful track record in office management
  • A basic understanding of accounting and finances
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and PhotoShop).
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment, IT, and photography.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (C1 or higher in both spoken and written)
  • Organizational talent, strong communication skills, and strong service orientation
  • Commitment, reliability, and ability to work in a team

Remuneration: Depending on qualifications and previous experience, we offer a minimum annual gross salary of € 35,000.

Starting date: negotiable (as soon as possible)
