RED NOSES International (RNI) is an artistic and humanitarian organisation that connects with diverse groups of audiences through the art of clowning. We work with children in hospitals, children and youth with disabilities, individuals in crisis situations, and senior citizens. Our headquarters, located in Vienna, coordinates 11 RED NOSES organisations across Europe and the Middle East and is responsible for our global outreach efforts.
Organisational Development Manager (f/m/d)
38.5 hours per week | Fixed-term position (parental leave cover)
Position summary
RED NOSES International is looking for an Organisational Development Manager to join our OD team at the international headquarters on a fixed-term basis, covering a period of parental leave. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you will help build strong systems for learning and development and cultivate meaningful gatherings and rituals that strengthen our culture. You will contribute to strategy development and implementation to keep RED NOSES effective, adaptive, mission-aligned, and supported by resilient people, processes and structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support organisational development / change initiatives that improve efficiency, innovation, adaptability, and long-term organisational health
- Support strategy implementation by developing processes, tools, and structures that enhance organisational effectiveness and resilience
- Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across RN organisations and teams
- Facilitate and support community gatherings that foster connection, belonging, and alignment across the organisation
- Develop and implement guidance
Your profile
- Experience in organisational change and development
- Strong facilitation and community engagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in policy development, coordination and implementation
- Strategic thinking
- Capability-building skills: designing and delivering engaging training sessions, tailoring content for different audiences, strong presentation skills
- A proactive mindset, openness and initiative
- Passion for social impact and alignment with RED NOSES’ mission and values
- Fluent English (spoken and written), additional languages are an asset
- Passion for working in a diverse and international organisation
- Great sense of humour and resilience in dynamic environments
- Clean Police Record
- Willingness to travel and be vaccinated
Position details
- 38.5 hours per week – full-time position
- Fixed-term contract: November 2026 – February 2028, covering a period of parental leave
- Reports to the Head of Organisational Development
- Vienna-based (work permission) candidates preferred; regular on-site presence for meetings and events is required – flexible working hours and the option to work from home under our hybrid working policy
- Salary: minimum gross salary is €47,600 per year (based on a 38.5-hour work week); actual salary depends on qualifications and experience. The salary is paid out 14 times per year.
