Organisational Development Manager (f/m/d)

RED NOSES International (RNI) is an artistic and humanitarian organisation engaging with different vulnerable groups (children in hospitals, children with disabilities, elderly and children in crisis situations) through the art of clowning. The RNI Office in Vienna is the Headquarter for 11 RED NOSES organisations throughout Europe and the Middle East and is also responsible for implementing the International Emergency Smile programme, which brings clowning to children in crisis situations around the world.

RNI is looking for an Organisational Development (OD) Manager for a maternity cover (38,5 hours per week). The Organisational Development Manager will support the OD Team at the Headquarters of RED NOSES International in key organisational development initiatives and processes in line with our strategy 2025. Key areas of work will be the design and implementation of an organisation wide capacity building programm, support in hosting and organising internal international leadership and community meetings, and co-design and co-implement the digital transformation processes at RED NOSES in close cooperation with internal and external IT experts.

The OD Manager will be working in the Organisational Development Department, of the headquarters of RED NOSES International. This position requires excellent facilitation skills in groupwide collaborative processes.  

Your tasks

  • Develop and implement intentional OD tools for RED NOSES Group
  • Develop and implement the capacity building programme for all RN staff to ensure continuous learning opportunities.
  • Support in hosting and organising international leadership and community meetings.
  • Project support in the digital transformation process of RED NOSES
  • Support team building activities

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with OD work in international organisations, preferably non-profit organisations.
  • Open mindset.
  • Hands on mentality and taking initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English required, further languages are an advantage
  • A committed and enthusiastic, proactive team player
  • Positive and resilient with an attitude of support and diplomacy
  • Passion for working in a diverse and international organization
  • Great sense of humour
  • Clean Police Record
  • Willingness to be vaccinated (especially COVID)

Position details

  • Limited contract (April 2023- August 2024)
  • 38,5 hours/week.
  • Reports to the Head of Organisational Development Department.
  • Vienna based (work permission) candidates are preferred but not a requirement. However, a suitable candidate should be willing and able to work from Vienna, attend meetings etc. on a regular basis

The minimum wage for this position is EUR 42,000.00 gross per annum (for 38.50 hours per week).
