Senior Program Manager, (Sr. PMO)

The Opportunity

Location: EU/EFTA (100% remote)

Contract: Fixed Term (2 years) with possible evolution to open ended term, Full-Time

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Program Manager to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations and drive organizational development for RLT Angels Association. The Sr. PMO owns and coordinates cross-stakeholder program delivery and supports leadership in planning and execution. They will maintain governance and manage processes to enhance the Association’s operational success. The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter with strong program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Governance

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans for Association initiatives and workstreams
  • Provide operational support to the Association’s leadership, including scoping & design of RLT Angels offerings and programs
  • Assist with defining Association priorities, tracking KPIs and maintain governance frameworks to ensure transparency and risk management
  • Support financial management and budget planning, documentation, and explore alternative income sources
  • Assist with recruiting new members including preparing pitch decks, relationship management, and inquiry handling.

Program Management & Execution

  • Oversee daily operations, monitor progress, manage risks, maintain documentation, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Own end-to-end management of key workstreams and facilitate cross-stakeholder collaboration within workstreams for efficient execution
  • Support creation of materials incl. developing frameworks for workstream development, translating workstream discussions into clear documents and visuals
  • Develop and maintain program management standards, tools, and templates
  • Manage inbound communications, track and address requests, develop processes and response template for common inquiries

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare high-quality materials and concise program updates for the Board, Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and any other stakeholder meetings
  • Create high-quality content for internal and external communication (e.g., presentations, newsletters, and social media posts)
  • Coordinate development of marketing plans, and work with relevant stakeholders to manage branding, website, social media, and congress presence

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the Association’s leadership, Board, SAB, and external partners (e.g., legal, accounting, audit) to align program activities with organizational priorities
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and support onboarding and engagement of volunteers and contributors.
  • Support the development of Association network and maintenance of relationships within RLT ecosystem

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare administration, science, business, or a related field.
  • Program management certifications (e.g., PMP) are optional but beneficial

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with a background in healthcare, life sciences, or non-profit sectors
  • Experience in program or project management, with proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations and/or setting up processes in start-up or early-stage environments is valuable.
  • Experience of working in or working with nuclear medicine/theranostics Centers, Cancer Centers, or other hospitals is valuable.
  • Familiarity with radioligand therapy, oncology, or nuclear medicine is an asset.

Communication & Management Skills

  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset
  • Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to create clear, engaging presentations and visual content for diverse audiences
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.

Other requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Valid work permit is required
