The Ban Ki-moon Centre (BKMC) empowers women and youth to act as global citizens for the fulfilment of the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. In pursuing this, the BKMC functions as a quasi-international organization (QIO) with four pillars of work: Leadership, Mediation, Advocacy, and Education. The Centre focuses on educating global citizen leaders who can help to achieve the SDGs and a sustainable future for all – leaving no one behind. It is led by Co-chairs Ban Ki-moon, 8th UN Secretary-General and Heinz Fischer, 11th President of the Republic of Austria.
