Our long-standing cooperation partner Uniport - the career service of the University of Vienna is organizing an exciting event on a highly topical subject next Tuesday.
"Not another one of those women's issues..."
- In some cases, both men and women are somewhat defensive about the gender gap. Where does this come from? After all, equality between men and women is not aimed at favoring women, but concerns everyone who wants to live in a just society.
That's why we want to find out, among other things, as part of our JobTalk "Gender Gap" on December 4, 2018 from 6:00 pm: Is it possible without a difference?
A "well-known" difference between men and women in the world of work is the issue of pay. As far as the pay gap between men and women is concerned, Austria is one of the worst performers in the European Union with a gender pay gap of just under 20%. But what other differences are there in everyday working life?
What would the professional world look like without a gender gap?
- How many fathers would take (longer) parental leave or work on a 20-hour basis?
- would there be more women in management positions?
- What impact does this have on the corporate culture and structure?
