Review: EXCELLENCE17 with NGO sessions

You never stop learning: Not only engineers at Engineers Without Borders and not only doctors at Doctors Without Borders!

The EXCELLENCE17 job and career fair at the University of Graz was once again a complete success this year. The NGOJobs stand was packed, over 50 students and graduates attended the presentation on working in the NGO sector and many interesting consultations with NGOJobs employees Max and Sarah showed the great interest in working in the non-profit sector.

This year, the NGO sessions were a particular highlight, as many well-known organizations - some of which had travelled all the way from Vienna - came to the stand and spent a session answering all questions relating to professional and volunteering opportunities. These included Caritas Styria, Fairtrade, Light for the World, Chance B, Doctors Without Borders - but also newly founded, innovative associations such as steiermark.gemeinsam.jetzt and Engineers Without Borders.

The visitors learned a lot of new things, including the important information that Doctors Without Borders is not just looking for doctors and, conversely, Engineers Without Borders is not just looking for engineers! 🙂

Thank you for coming, for asking and listening, for sharing your professional ideas and for attending the lecture!

Thanks to the Career Center of the University of Graz for the perfect fair preparation and our long-standing cooperation!
