There are many NGOs, associations, initiatives and companies in Austria that contribute to socio-ecological change. However, these groups often work in isolation and know little about each other. To remedy this, the "Wandelpartnerschaften" project was launched by the SOL association (People for Solidarity, Ecology and Lifestyle). SOL itself contributes to the socio-ecological transformation of society.
This project, funded by the Ministry of Life, enables SOL to enter into cooperation with committed groups and initiatives and thus support their activities, as well as carry out additional jointly organized activities. This cooperation is called "Wandelpartnerschaft".
As part of the "Wandelpartnerschaften" project, we are cooperating with ngojobs.at, the job exchange for committed people. Specifically, a consultation meeting was held at which we jointly developed the new lecture and workshop concept "Career and volunteering in the NGO sector".
At UniLeben 2015, visitors to the lecture were able to enjoy the new input for the first time.
We are delighted with this successful cooperation, which was made possible by the "Wandelpartnerschaften" project.
