NPO Congress - what is that?
The NPO Congress of the Austrian Controller Institute will take place for the 26th time on October 23 and 24 in Vienna. Austria's only congress for non-profit organizations, public administration, foundations and social enterprises will focus this time on the human success factor in the digital age and explore the question of how digitalization is changing people and their tasks, what new requirements are arising as a result and what this means for NPOs and public administration.
Digitalization - many questions arise
This year, we want to focus our attention on the human success factor and all its relevant aspects.
- What impact does digitalization have on the way we perform our tasks?
- Are new/different requirements being placed on our staff?
- How do we actively develop our HR management and HR controlling?
- How do we overcome the impending staff shortages and loss of expertise?
- How do we reach the younger generation and volunteers?
What does the event offer me specifically?
The NPO Congress aims to provide participants with as much in-depth knowledge, ideas and suggestions as possible on both days in order to deliver added value for daily practice. Therefore, in addition to information exchange and networking, participants can expect top-class keynotes and presentations, insights into practice in the form of best practice examples and the opportunity to deepen their own knowledge in workshops. There will also be an opportunity to think outside the box, which is why innovative digital solutions, apps, initiatives and business models will once again be presented in the "Digital and Social Innovations" forum this year.
This year's speakers include the German author and management and career consultant Svenja Hofert, the founder of watchado Ali Mahlodji, the head of the Institute for Nonprofit Management at WU Vienna Prof. Dr. Michael Meyer and entrepreneur, party founder and author Dr. Matthias Strolz.
