On Saturday, October 21, 2017 the 1zu1 networking meeting #14 of the networking platform will take place at Amerlinghaus in Vienna. 1zu1 - develop networking, network development will take place. All people who are interested in development cooperation on a personal basis are invited.

...to strengthen the smaller EZA initiatives.
Many people throughout Austria are actively committed to improving living conditions in the countries of the South - as individuals, in small groups of friends or in self-founded associations. They are in direct contact with the people in a target country and implement concrete projects there.
The project by SOL - People for Solidarity, Ecology and Lifestyle and the Development Aid Club aims to help network 1to1 initiatives with each other and with other people and groups interested in development policy. This 1to1 networking platform is intended to enable, facilitate and stimulate contacts
There are hundreds of such small groups or individuals in Austria who focus on a very specific project in a so-called "developing country" - such as the construction of a school or a medical station. They deal with this topic on a theoretical level or have a general interest in development cooperation.
The fourteenth 1zu1 networking meeting will take place on October 21, 2017 at the Amerlinghaus in Vienna.
The aim of the meeting is for these groups to learn from each other and exchange experiences. The groups and individuals present can gain an insight into the new activities and offers of the 1to1 platform and actively participate in the design of this platform. The aim is to create a joint, critical discussion about the position of people in development cooperation.
ECPAT Austria will be providing exciting input under the title "Child protection in your luggage".
