A Voluntary Environmental Year (FUJ ) offers the opportunity to work voluntarily for 6-12 months at a job site in the environmental, nature conservation and sustainability sector throughout Austria.
The FUJ provides practical insights into the diverse work of well-known environmental and nature conservation organizations such as Greenpeace, WWF, Climate Alliance, nature parks and many more. After reaching the age of 18, young people can get involved in over 40 non-profit organizations in the following areas:
- Environmental protection and environmental education
- Nature and species conservation
- organic farming
- Animal welfare
- Development
- renewable energies
Registration for the FUJ year 17/18 runs until 30.04.2017. After that, only remaining places will be allocated.
