Our planet is in trouble, we all know that. It is high time we did something about it. As a protector of flora and fauna, the WWF is fighting to minimize the consequences of the climate crisis. Above all, this includes creating a new awareness in the economy in order to finally bring about a change of direction.
Founded in 2007, the WWF Climate Group is a network of 10 Austrian companies that are committed to climate-conscious action in business, politics and the population.

This goal is to be achieved, among other things, by committing to the Paris Climate Agreement.
The WWF supports the companies as a coordinator and content-related opposition. It also organizes regular network meetings together with experts and stakeholders from business, politics, science and civil society, who inform and advise the companies on current climate protection issues.
The companies have formed a network in which they tackle common issues such as studies, initiatives, events and advocacy for an effective energy and climate policy.
The participating companies come from various sectors of the economy that are relevant to climate protection. Among others, Ikea, Allianz, BKS Bank, ÖBB, SPAR and Vöslauer are taking part. You can find a complete list of all companies here.
